Transmission slow acceleration

About 2 weeks ago after getting off work I was on the high doing about 65-70 mph and out of no where my car started jerking and down shifting. So I got off the highway to check the fluid levels on the engine and transmission both were a little low. So I topped them both off got back on the road and noticed I had a very slow acceleration the jerking stopped but the slow acceleration started. Today I changed the fluid and filter in the transmission but still doing same and now it has a whistling noise. What could be the issue?

Hello,

It sounds like you have a catalytic converter that has fallen apart and is blocking the exhaust system lowering the vacuum in the engine causing the transmission to act up. To be sure here is a guide to help us:

See if you can gently bang on the exhaust to see if you can hear any rattling. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Please run down this guide and report back.
