How to remove and install the transmission?

All right, this sounds like a fun weekend job, you will need an upper engine cradle and a transmission jack. The engine stays in the car while the lower frame sub member is removed before the transmission can be removed. Start by disconnecting the battery and draining the transmission fluid. Once the unit is out and you are reinstalling it you can make a BIG mistake if the torque converter is not seated correctly. Please watch this video to see what I am talking about:

Here are the instructions on how to get the transmission and PTO drive out of the car. To install it just reverse the procedure. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
