Van on way home from camping trip stopped and got gas, upon leaving parking lot 1st gear it seemed to lack acceleration and like no power to wheels when I pulled out about 15mph, shut off van in park, turned back on, trans stuttered bit from 1st to 2nd Nd to 3rd abit but got all the way home off highway 2hrs later and noticed through town stop and go that the transmission was not wanting to shift to 2nd or 3rd between stops CEL flipped, parked it and tried to test drive around the block 2 days later, upon starting realized a noticeable whirring kind of sound like a kids robot toy or power wheels toy coming from transmission area, if left alone it slowly die off and then come back, gets louder the more gas you give it in all gears except not really upon shifting to neutral idling, seemed like it doesn't want to engage in D or R unless you give it enough gas to get 2k to 2.5k rpms than it kicks hard into gear and gives power to wheels, rough accel and even see speedometer kind of choppy as RPMs raise, once it engages in gear if you try to barely take foot off gas to lower rpms to 1800 or so it's like it loses power to the wheels, if you do keep holding it down sometimes it shifts to 2nd if you're lucky and don't lose power to wheels like you're in a neutral gear, when it does though you get a rough shift or you get a hard kick after it normally overrevs to 3 or 4k RPMs before it kicks in 2nd hard, from the 2 times I tried to drive it this is as far as I got as I didn't want to damage it more, seems gears aren't engaging, i'm getting codes for 2 pressure switches in trans, a gear ratio code, low fluid level code and possibly a low TCM voltage code(not sure because I did remove the battery for 2 days to use it to try to trouble shoot my 15 Ram 1500 and drained the battery a bit before putting back in van) codes read are p0846 p0868 p0733 p083b and p0842, also had a weird code don't remember what it was maybe a U code or something for a front speed sensor under the ABS. Please help I just had a titanium rod in my leg from being broken and 4 ankle screws and all 3 of our vehicles are down!

The first thing I would do is check the transmission fluid level.

Here is a guide to help with instructions for you can in the images below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-and-add-transmission-fluid

MOPAR ATF+4 Automatic Transmission Fluid

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. We need to hear the noise, so we know which direction to go to help you fix the car. It takes time to upload so please be patient.

P0846: This code indicates a problem with the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'B' circuit.

P0868: This code signifies low transmission fluid pressure.

P0733: This code is related to the 3rd gear ratio.

P083B: This code is associated with the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'G' circuit.

P0842: This code indicates a problem with the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch 'A' circuit low.

You may have an internal transmission problem, which is what the noise is trying to tell us. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Sorry it was not code p0842 it was code p0882. I don't have the dip stick, I used a video of using oil dipstick and marking the 16.7in where it bottoms out and than measure how many mm it is from bottom of oil dipstick, my only problem is my scan tool does freeze frame DTC and ABS but no transmission temperature just intake manifold temperature, engine and coolant pretty much. When I check this method cold not started over night I get 95mm on dipstick, when started and shifted through all gears up and down 3 or 4 times 10 seconds per gear, idling for 2-5 minutes I get a reading of about 45mm, fluid on dipstick smells sweet/normal a little darkish, no flakes that I can see when smeared between fingers, I see no leaks under van either. May try to drop pan and do filter change, if fluid looks good no metal or anything, should I reuse the fluid and just replace filter or replace fluid as well? I know a lot of people recommend not replacing fluid if it's never been changed, I bought the van at 100k-110k miles through dealership last owner was a realtor, don't know if they ever flushed the transmission and changed filter before or not. When I get a chance i'll send a video of whirring noise that sounds like a humm-whirr-blender noise.

Yep, please do, if the transmission is making noise, you have nothing to lose by changing the fluid and filter.

The P0882 error code in a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country typically indicates a problem with the Transmission Control Module (TCM) power input signal.

So, there could be a problem with the TCM which is common, I would remove the electrical connector and check for corrosion which can happen because of the TCM placement in the vehicle. Here is the location so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
