My vehicle has had regular maintenance and not driven hard. I began seeing coolant slowly depleting from the fill reservoir. Then it wouldn't shift until it was way too high on the rpm but finally would shift. I pulled the transmission dipstick and it was high on the stick with a lot of foamy bubbles. What can I do to get this drive-able again?

Hi,

Does the coolant or transmission fluid seem to be clean and uncontaminated? Is the coolant level low or too high? Have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? If you haven't you should. Here is a quick video that shows how it is done:

I realize that most people don't own a scanner, but often times a parts store will do it for you free of charge.

Let me know.
