My fiancé has replaced about everything part in the transmission, and it still has no forward gears all it has is reverse. When he took the transmission pan off there was not one metal flake in it, so the transmission should be good. So, what could be wrong with it?

Normally when we have no forward gears it is due to a fluid level issue or a pressure issue.

So, this is where we need to start. I assume the level is correct but let's check that and make sure.

Next, we need to check the line pressure and make sure the pump is good and then you don't have a leak in the system.

Lastly is a clutch pressure test. This is checking the actual seals in the clutches and bands to make sure they are okay.

I attached all the info for this. Please have him run through this and ask questions if he has them. This is not the easiest testing and does require tools that he can most likely rent from a parts store.

Thanks
