I have a five speed manual transmission and it has been making a clinking noise as I drive along and the clinking speeds up the higher the rpm's. What could be the problem?

It could be a broken tooth in the transmission or maybe a driveshaft noise like bad u-joints. Check fluid in transmission, then try to see if it in all gears or just one. If just one gear then it is a transmission noise. Also, if you have any loose panels under car they can give funny noises as well.

Along with the clinking noise which happens in any gear there is a lot of vibration under the car around 80mph or higher

Check ujoints in driveshaft those will click when going bad. If you see rust around the seals replace the ujoints they will cause vibrations as well. Normally at a lower speed however
