Drove car on the twenty third of July came home no smell of burning oil. Carport was cleaned on twenty sixth of July, no sign of any oil leak. Today there is a puddle of oil. Please tell me how this is possible without car being driven at all today is July 29, 2016? Thank you

It can have a hole in pan which I doubt or it may be a pan gasket leak. Put some on your finger and see what color it is red, oil color or power steering or even antifreeze.

Thank you, but I took a few pictures under car, I think it is red I saw a small crack next to the transmission pan. This crack was located on a large pipe next to trans pan. Dear Sir, I did not go over any objects on the road 7/23/16. I am puzzled as to why this has happened. If a car has been sitting for six days and has not be driven. I am concerned, could someone may have punctured a crack in it on purpose? Thanks again, SCF54. I am a woman, I do not know about cars mechanically but common sense tells me this could have been done deliberately. I can forward you a picture if need be with my cellphone to your cellphone.

If you see the cracked pipe and it is wet around it then that is probably the leak. It can be repaired either with a new line or fixing the current one, but sending a picture would be more helpful.
