There is mineral oil coming out near the front of my vehicle. Where could it be coming from?

More than likely this is a transmission line or the cooler itself. The transmission cooler is located by the radiator so that it can have access to the air in the front of the vehicle so it can cool the transmission oil.

Best thing to do is clean the under-body off and then add a dye to the oil to see where it is coming from.

Let me know what you find.

Kind Folks,
While I indicated the front of the car I meant the front of the transmission. The leak is not near the radiator it is where the transmission meets the engine.

Okay. This would most likely be the input shaft seal. This is what seals the torque converter and input shaft so that the fluid stays inside the unit. As you can see if this leaks it is going to leak into the bell housing and then run down to where the engine and transmission mate.

Let me know if you have questions.
