It is hard to know for sure if this process is going to be the same just because we are not sure the transmission is the same year but I doubt it will be much different.

Hello,

Just about all of these GM vehicles uses DEXRON III transmission fluid for Automatic transmissions.
Fluid Capacity:
Bottom Pan Removal .................... 6.9 quarts (6.5 liters)
Complete Overhaul .................... 9.5 quarts (9.0 liters)
Dry .................... 12.9 quarts (12.2 liters)
