About eight months ago I put a stage 2 clutch kit into my car and three weeks ago it was making a sound like a metal marble rolling around on a sheet of metal. So I took the transmission off to repair the slave cylinder which didn't workout for me, I put it back in and it still made the sound so I ordered another slave cylinder/bearing. I put it in and then it was making a rapid chattering sound so I took it back off and replaced the input shaft bearing along with the output shaft bearing. Now when I get in the car I push the clutch pedal in and start up the car and it starts fine, then I put the shifter into neutral and try letting off the clutch pedal and I hear a horrible screeching/scraping sound and then I try putting it in first and it kicks the shifter back into neutral, so I turn it off. What is wrong with it?

Hi,

Sounds like the clutch is not fully disengaging at this point. Clearly there has been a number of different issues but when there is grinding noises and kicking out of gear, that means that normally means it is still partially engaged.

Normally that is caused because the slave still has air in then line or the pilot bearing is locked up to the input shaft. Since you have just replaced all this, I would try to bleed the system some more and see if it gets any better.
