Will a transmission from a Trooper fit my Rodeo? 3.2 engine 1998 yes they are both 4x4.

Hello, I am Danny.

If both the Trooper and Rodeo are both 1998 and a 4x4 they are both the the same 4L30-E transmission. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2Carpros.
