I have a 01 Saturn 1.9L EFI/OHC single cam manual transmission sc1. My transmission went out and I found a 2.2l 5speed Saturn transmission s series to replace it will it fit in my 1.9l Saturn I have. What Saturn transmission can I use to replace the Saturn I need to replace which is the 1.9l single cam manual transmission. I am having a hard time tring to find a used transmission to fix mine. Is there any places in Pennsylvania that you can recommend to find a used tranny at a cheap price that is reliable as well as my first question what size can fit in a 1.9l.

The transmission from the 2.2 eco tech engine will not work. The junk yards should have the software to be able to tell you which transmissions from which year and model cars will work.I don't have a listing to tell you which cars will fit. ALSO I am in southern California so I have no idea where to get a transmission where you live. Do they have pick a partsuup by you?
