Transmission stuck in drive?

My car is stuck in drive. I can shift through all gears on shift lever but goes forward in all gears.

Sounds like the shift lever is stuck in drive and while the shifter is moving the actual lever on the transmission is not moving.

Does the vehicle go into park and shut off normally? Then can you remove the key like normal?

If not then we have to inspect the lever on the transmission.
