Hello, just wondering about my SUV. When backing out of my driveway in the morning it sometimes hesitates to grab first hear when I put it in forward. It does not seem to have any power when pushing gas pedal and then finally starts moving and driving normal. I do not really have any other issues with it. It normally runs really well. Only other thing is when I brake really hard it comes to stop and then sometimes shuts off.

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and IAC hole with choke cleaner. then if you can check transmission fluid it may have to be done by a transmission shop if no dipstick. if it is dark brown or a lot of junk in pan or black oil then the transmission is due for a rebuild.
