no resistance when shifting from drive to park?

There is no resistance when shifting from drive to park and visa versa. The shifter is loose. Hard to put in Park. I need help please.

It sounds like the shift cable needs to be replaced and adjusted. Here is how the job is done and I included how to adjust the shift cable after installation. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
