Transmission not shifting properly

Car won't shift past 30 mph. Turn it off runs fine. 300c 5.7l hemi Nag1 transmission.

Hi Jerry,

This is called Limp in mode. It is there to prevent any damage done to the unit because the control module saw something that could do that.

In order to figure this out, we need to find out what codes are in the computer. This will tell us about where the issue is. It will more than likely require some diagnosis but I can help with that part once we get the codes.

Most can. I would call ahead but the major brands all do it. Just make sure they are able to communicate with ABS modules. It is unlikely in your case but speed sensor issues can cause these types of problems and if they can't communicate with an ABS module then they will tell you there are no codes when there are, they just didn't see them.
