I just recently replaced my rear main seal and put everything back together. Put new ATF in it and now I'm leaking out of my transmission pan and the transmission wont engage. The truck starts right up. Believe it might be the solenoid. Any suggestions?

How much fluid is it leaking? Can you get a picture of the pan leak? Normally these pans leak because one of the pan bolts is stripped. However, unless you are a few quarts low on fluid, it won't cause this to not engage. So I suspect you are correct that there is a deeper issue.

It could be the solenoid body but we should check for codes before replacing parts. If there are no codes then you could just have a pressure issue. If there is a solenoid issue, you should have some codes.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks
