Okay thanks, HMAC300, and do you know if the transfer case will mount up to the Harley Davidson transmission or not? Also, I do not think the Harley Davidson made a 4x4 F-150 around 2001 or 2002 but not sure?

We do not list a lot of models so as long as id tags are the same and it is a 4x4 transmission as it will not have an extension housing on it and shaft will be short it will fit just like I said previously. The Harley Davidson designation is mostly the way the truck is like badges etc. Drive-train is the same as a regular truck.

Okay the reason I am asking is I bought the truck and transmission came with it. So I assume you mean there is a extra housing that bolts on the back of transmission so you can mount transfer case? So if I have that and same I.D. Tag I should be okay? Thanks for the help.

4x4 transmissions are different from two wheel drive the 4x4 normally has a shorter output shaft so it will go into the transfer case. A two wheel drive has a longer output shaft with an extension housing and will not work on a 4x4 application. Id tags can be the same but different application. Check the transmission you currently have in the truck and see if it has an extension housing that looks like the one outside the truck. If not it will not work.
