Downshifting into second and first doesn't work?

Drive overdive and reverse work great but manually downshifting into second and first doesn't work anymore

So are you able to move the shifter? What happens when you shift into first, does it go into neutral? If you are going to fast, the transmission has a safety that will not allow it. FYI. Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on :) Ken
