My traction light comes on when it is cold outside. When it comes on the engine idles rough and sometimes shuts off. If I turn the car off and on again it goes away. Sometimes it takes a few tries. I have already replaced the battery and mass air flow sensor. Once the sensor was replace the computer was flashed by the Nissan dealership. What could be causing this problem?

Hi STOP83,

Are there any trouble codes from the traction light?

Cold weather can sometimes cause havoc to electrical systems, especially when dampness occurs at wire harness or poor ground connections. It can also affect control units and usually such problems are never easy to detect.
