Traction control light turns on

Traction control light comes on when I am in traffic. The car some times goes off. When I scan the car with VCDS, I always get the crankshaft fault code(G28). I decided to replace the this sensor and the Hall sensor last Sunday.

I would like to know if these sensors are related to the traction control system.

No, they are not related. The traction control light usually means there is as ABS wheel speed sensor going out, but to be sure lets run the codes. Here is a video on how to do it:
