Accelerating from a standstill the car zigzags and skids at turns at a speed of forty mph or over. Seems to be a stability issue.

My car is regularly serviced by the authorized agent in Sharjah. They thoroughly check and repair any fault found. As I hear from some sources that most American cars do not have the road grip or stability like the German cars. I wonder if a better sort of stabilizers might help.

If it is a stability issue then it should be a sway bar problem and it also depends on how sharp a turn it is as you may be getting under or over steer. The American cars are mostly built for comfort whereas the German cars like a BMW are more of a sportier car so built differently.
