2004 Toyota Tundra low oil pressure

My 2004 tundra when the engine warms up the oil pressure guage reads 1/4 pressure on the guage when idle. When step on the gas it goes up to normal and then it goes back dow to 1/4 when idle again. I check the oil in the engine and the oil level is good right on the second button on the dipstick. What is going on?

It seems as though your motor oil may be used up (too old) and needs replaced. Also the wrong type of motor oil may have been used (too thin/wrong weight). When was last time oil was replaced? If it is rather new and certain it is right type than the oil pump may be weak and starting to fail.
