Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2000 Toyota Tundra 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 115000 miles
I have a whirl-whirl noise coming from the rear of the truck on deceleration between 50 mph and 30 mph. I tried changing the rear u-joint but no improvement. I then raised the rear wheels and put it in gear and I heard a similiar noise coming from the rear. I assume it must be the wheel bearings. Is there any special tools I will need to do this job, such as a torch or press? Will a basic set of hand tools do? Are there any tips you can give me before I begin? Are there any torque settings I should retighten any of the bolts at?
have the same problem?
