Car is burning oil

I have bought Toyota Tercel 94 with 125000 miles on it. It has Automatic Transmission and there's no strange sound or Fluid leaks. I changed the oil 2 months ago and it went out in 3 weeks. I got the high mileage oil refill again last week and today level of oil is down. There's no oil leakage so I think car is burning a lot of oil. Any suggestion about what could be done to fix this problem would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Saqib

If you want the fix in a can, get Risolone ring repair, it costs about 10.00 but works faily well! Save the money for another car. Instead of rebuilding that one.

Thanks for the reply. How long can I run the car if I use rislone ring seal? I know this car has to die at one point but I am curious to know because I have to move driving this car a long way.

Thanks

Any smoke from the exhuast? If it's loosing a lot of oil it's either burning or leaking, drive it and keep an eye on the oil level after the Risolone, this is good stuff and will reduce the amount of oil burned substantially!

When I start my car first time in the morning it gives out a lot of bluish white smoke. I put risolone oil yesterday and I didn't see any smoke this morning.

I am worried because I have to move to some other state and I am not sure if I should drive this car or not. I am alos not sure if I can sell this car out or not.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
