1994 Toyota Tercel CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

My car starts fine and idles(sounds like it might be missing). When I press on the gas to move, it shakes until I get going a bit faster. When I come to a stop is shakes (almost like it might die, but it doesn't).
we just changed the spark plugs and oil (spark plugs were in dire of need of changing which is what started the whole problem). Now the check engine light is staying on.

HI there,

You will need to get a scan done first and report back the set fault code, this will be needed to identify the problem with the car, start here and re post the code for further assistance.
