Just had the same thing happen to my truck (exact same model and mileage) today. Is replacing a blower resistor a hard/expensive thing to do? should i take it in or try to do it myself? thanks in advance!

Hi elswarro,
Replacing the resistor is not too difficult. I do not have the complete removal procedures but here are some diagrams that should be helpful.
Removing the 2 bolts and you can lift the resistor out. The cabin filter has to be removed for easier access to the resistor.
