1997 Toyota Tacoma Coil Pack Burns up Spark plug blowing ou

The middle coil pack has burnt up along with the sparkplug twice in the last 3 weeks. Since it happened the second time I cannot get the new plug to tighten down. It almost seems that the cylinder has colapssed but I know it has not. What could be causing me not to be able to get the spark plug set? I have had this vehicle for 13 years and all oil changes and maintenence has been taken very well care of.

Had the same problem with spark jump along the plug with my 97. Now my 04 is doing it. Had to buy a new coil and eventually they all did it and had to be replaced. I think te threads have stripped in the cylinder. There is a posssibility that someone can put new threds in. I forget what this thread thing is called but I think its a helicoil.
