I have a 94 Supra TT. I have a couple problems with the car. It won't pass smog. I had a new catalytic converter put in and it barely passed last year and now the cc is ruined. I have a wideband FJO A/F sensor and I'm usually in the 12.5-13.5 area. The car idles weird. It stays at about 800 for 2 secs then drops to 600 for 1/2 a sec then back up to 800. Also, if I have the a/c on and I push in the clutch the idle drops so low that the car stalls. (I've noticed that in the morning when it's not so hot that this doesn't happen. I don't know if that is coincidental or not, but it never happens in the morning.) The car only use to stall with the a/c- so I left it off- but now it has stalled a couple times just randomly. Any ideas?

Hi squirrely, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

It won't pass smog. What is it failing on?

Idle problem could be an idle up solenoid that's not kicking in to compensate for the compressor load to raise the idle speed thru the idle air control valve

Try cleaning out the idle air control valve and also the MAF sensor with an electronic cleaner CRC and see what happens-let me know

I cleaned both the IAC and MAF. It seems to be idling more steady, but it still stalled a couple of times. I might give it another clean tomorrow. However, the car has lost all of its power. I was listening for the turbos to spool up, but I never heard them. I have an aftermarket EMS. Do you think it needs to be retuned after this, or is it something else?

Try getting it retuned and see what happens-also try adjusting the idle to 1K rpm and see if it'll drop to 800 and staedy and also clean out the EGR valve
