Hello. I have a 1992 Toyota Previa. The oil lamp came on after an oil change. I was driving and the light blinked three times and the engine (I believe) popped and there was a flash. I quickly turned of the engine. What happened? Can I turn it back on? Could it be the engine oil feeder system failed? Is my engine shot? Help, I really love this car. It has been very dependable.

Thanks
Tony

Could it be the engine oil feeder system failed? Could be. There's a relay for it-look at the cover similar to the EFI relay.

Okay about the oil light -clear it by remove the EFI fuse for 10secs or better.

I have a 95 I don't even use the 2qts container or the engine oil feeder-I took the relay out. Just be checking the oil thru under the driver seat.

Hope this helps -Good Luck
