Squeak like loose belt is heard while idling. Belts are fine, though. After a short drive of 5 miles the temp. Gauge reads most the way to red, and water in plastic reserve is boiling. Park for an hour, no coolant left in plastic reserve, but no apparent leak visible under vehicle. If I force water into reserve while running engine, squeaking noise stops temporarily. Replaced thermostat, water pump, removed and routed radiator. What else to do?

It definitely a cylinder head issue on your van; most likely it developed a crack or cracks in between the valves. No other options but to replace a head gasket, or even the cylinder head itself. It may cost you anywhere from $750-$1,200 depends on a mechanic. Sorry for bad news, but good luck to you.
