We bought this truck and all the lamps were blown, it runs and idles perfect. We have put on a new alternator and new voltage regulator and it is still overcharging after it has ran awhile. We have looked for bare wires and can not find any, and have put a volt meter on them all - What Now?

Well, after much research, I have that alot of people have this problem. It happens when they replace alt. With an after market one. I found one person who had fixed it by running a ground wire to the back of the alt. I did this and it seems to work. Hope this helps others with same problem. Thanks
