Recently my truck failed it's renewal emissions test with the following codes being displayed:

P0100: Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction
P0110: Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction
P0136:Oxygen Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P00440: Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction

I took my truck to Firestone and they told me to replace my O2 oxygen senor, my mass air flow sensor, air filter, gas cap. They had wanted to charge me over $800 for this service. Once I looked up the prices of the parts online I discovered that Firestone was going to charge me over $250.00 more than I found the parts online.

I have purchased the O2 Oxygen Sensor from Bosch but I am not sure what which mass air flow sensor to purchase? If I purchase these items, can I replace them myself?

Do you think my vehicle would pass the emissions test if I replaced all the items recommended by firestone? I have purchase a repair manuel online to help me replace the items.

That is an awful lot of codes. Have them cleared and drive it for a few days to see what comes back. Some of those can create the others. The o2 sensor is no big deal to change and if it says malfunction it is most likely bad, Located after the cat converter, closest to tail pipe.I would try to stick with OEM on the MAF meter, the Bosch o2 is fine. As far as the evap code, unles your gas cap is bad it will take some diagnostic, probably need a shop on that one
