1994 Toyota Pickup

I have a 1994 Toyota Pickup and it will only crank with start fluid but will also run without it what could the problem be?

Jumper the Fp and Batt terminal in the diagnostic check connector and see if it will start-let me know

Since it runs once you get it started, it sounds like it could be the fuel pump, and once it is started, it starts pumping.

In the airflow meter block the vane flap wide open and attempt to start, if starts everytime the airflow meter is defective- The airflow meter grounds the circuit opening relay in order to power the fuel pump-

If there's a problem with the fuel pump I don't think it'll be running-check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump-
