I need to figure out if replacing my oil temp sensor if it will bring little more life in the get up into the truck. It already had head gasket new plugs, new plug wires, new clutch. But the wire to the oil temp sensor on the side of the motor doesn't stay on so should I just replace the wire and the sensor? It doesn't register any temperature on the oil temp gauge.

Hi there,

Replace the sensor wire and check that you are getting a reading on the dash, if not replace the sensor, this will not give you any performance improvement at all.
