1991 Toyota Pickup 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the truck ran out of gas. I put about three gallons in and it still wont start. What could be the problem?

The pump could have overheated and failed. CAn you hear the pump running at key on or while cranking. Try spraying starter fluid in the air intake, if it fires with that, you will need to check fuel pressure.
