1986 Toyota Pickup truck will not stay running

Truck would not start. I found a bad ignition control mod. Now truck starts but shuts off immediately.

Hi there,

Check the coil voltage when you start and it stops, also check the idle solenoid inn the carby. Will it run on fast idle? Check fuel pressure as well.
