1985 Toyota Pickup carburetor

When engine is warmed up, the only way I can get it to idle at 700 rpm is to push down on the fast idle screw with my finger until it bottoms out. It goes down about 1/8 inch.

Thank you for the donation.

Seems the linkage is not returning to the idle position and the items that you should check are
1. Autochoke controls.
2. Accelerator cable adjustment.
3. Dashpot vacumn leakages.
4. Stiff throttle valve linkages.
