Hi. Im putting a new timing kit in my 1984 22r motor should both timing marks on my camshaft sprocket and my crank sprocket be pointed up in the same direction? Thanks

make sure key in crankshaft is at 12 o'clock position. Align bright chain links with timing marks on the crank and cam. Turn chain clock wise to take up slack. Make sure distributor is not 180 degrees out.
