1984 Toyota Pickup 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 120k miles
Greetings all.
I just acquired a 1984 Toyota SR5 4WD pickup from my cities impound lot. Of course there are no keys for it, so i'm wondering if anyone has a clue as to how to replace the ignition switch without destroying the steering column. Alternately, if anyone could show me what wires where could be used to hotwire it, that would be of help too. I did have a buddy check with alldata through his work, but he couldn't find any specific answers in the few minutes he had to search.
I'm not even sure if the truck runs or not. I'm only trying what I can to find out if it indeed it does run so I don't haul it away for scrap.
