Would the cost of a rebuilt engine be worth it? My daughter loves her car but the engine is going. Not sure how far the rest of the car/parts will go if we invest in another engine. Thank you.

If you're having the engine replaced at a shop it would cost approx. $700 in labor fees, not including the price of used / rebuilt motor. You should be able to get that little engine for pretty cheap used at a salvage lot, they should come with at least 30 day warranty as well. I would imagine you should be able to get it all done for $1,000 or less if you take some time to find a good motor priced right. Having the engine rebuilt would probably not be worth it honestly, takes a lot more time which is more labor costs and you end up with still a used motor with just a few new parts on it.
