Theres a metal tube thats comes out of the top of the engine on the drivers side that has slipped out of the hole and now it leaks cooant out of the hole what is it and can I fix it it comes out hooks to the hose that gos to the heater core I dont see anyway to get it tight

I am not sure which pipe you are referring to. Is it possible to upload a picture?

From the description, it most probably is water passage for the water pump and has hoses leading to the heater.
