I am hearing a sound similar to a fuel knock. In case I am right how can I remove the knock at idle speed?

If its a ticking and tapping type noises could be your valve lifters

Are you sure it is not a bearing noise, have you checked the oil pressure, I will need the exact engine code as well.

I'm not privy with the engine code. I'm sure it's not a bearing noise hearing it from the top. Further besides that noise the engine is running smoothly. No vibrations.

When was the last oil change? Might just work if you do an oil/filter change, also consider engine flush-Its advisible to check the oil pressure could be the oil pump getting tired or a blockage somewhere -such as the pick-up screen and oil galleries and worn out engine bearings causing the oil pressure to be low and not getting all the way up there to the valvetrain causing them lifters to be sounding off-

This engine has no lifter. It is equipped with rocker arm.
The engine is newly overhauled. Though I did not replace the camshaft bearings finding it unnecessary.

In my analogy it is a fuel knock and not a valve noise.

I guess there is only one Toyota L; next models are 2L etc.

Can you please simply give me an idea on how I can deal with the fuel knock? I'm not familiar with it's injector and pump.

Further, this engine is installed in a wrangler jeep and I suspect the gas tank structure as one of the culprits.

I can't help you with out the engine code, it is printed on the compliance plate in the engine bay.
