The heat of the ignition coil is unusual, it is hot than normal. Is this ok or not?If not, what seems to be the problem?

Hi bluesbrother,

Ignition coils operates under temperature due t the coils being energised and this is normal.

If you do not have misfiring issues and the coil is not leaking oil, thee is nothing to worry about.

However if you did not start engine and keep ignition switvhch in ON position, that would heat up the coil and prolonged time under this condition can cause the coil to fail prematurely.
