How much should the labor cost be to replace the front diff if I already have the part.

Hi there,

if you only replace the front diff this should take a competent mechanic about 3 hrs. You should replace the inner axle tube seals and re pack the front swivel hubs, if your car is showing any signs of oil leaking from the front hubs you should consider O/Hauling these at the same time, The bearings in the swivel hub (top & bottom) take a pounding and you may feel them notchy when you try and turn the hub side to side with out the drag link attached, also it is a good time to wash & re pack the front bearings. If you have all this done it can be easily completed in a day.
