I have a 1981 BJ42 Toyota Landcruiser (diesel), 4cylinder, 295000 kms. 3 months ago I had 2 brand new batteries installed (24 volt system). I have not used it since and the batteries are now completely dead.
How can I tell where the drain on the batteries is?
Thank you for the help.

Hi there,

With batteries fully charged, set up an Amp meter to pos terminal and pos battery post, with key turned off check amp draw. Then remove fuses one at a time. When amp drew drops that is a citcuite that is drawing current, remember that the clock will draw a small amount as will the radio when turned off, also remember to check with the doors closed so the int light will not stay on.

Good luck
