Hello,

I want to change the manifold on my car, but its so hard to find the part. I don't want to go to the dealer until I see I have no options. I've been to muffler shops and they can't find used parts and always direct me to the dealer. My question is would a 1996 lexus lx450 manifold fit on my car because they look the same. Also, Is there any other car that is similar to my car, like whats the difference between the 94', 96' land cruisers with my 95'? Another question, because my bolts on the manifold are so rusty. Should I torch the bolts before unscrewing them? Please help me.

Junk yards have a crossover book to look up your part, and cross reference it to all other vehicles it fits, do not use a torch! Damage to the aluminum head will result. Soak for a day or two with penetrating oil, go easy when turning the nuts, work them loose and tighten just a bit to break the rust. If a bolt snaps, careful drilling out is next! Specialty welding shops can weld your manifold, for less than buying one, but it does need to be removed first.
