2005 Toyota Highlander door glass

My right rear passanger side door glass will not close up. It is on the track but does connect to motor. I cannot get interior door panel removed to gain access. I am missing a step. How do I get interior panel off and how do I fix glass/motor mechanism?

Not much with toyota highlander, but it seems to me that there is a way, I think there is a lever on the track that releases the door. I may be wrong but somewhere I heard about something like that.
