Toyota Corolla 98 model. 130K mileage.
Both front windows are not working. It started few days ago, when they were working intermittently. While opening, no problem but for closing it took a long time. And then after some days, it was not opening or closing at all.
I had shown it to the mechanic. He tested and said Motor, Regulators are OK, but master switch needs to be replaced. This switch is 320$ worth.
Can this be possible? What is this master switch?
Can there be any possibility for this kind of malfunction?

Thanks.

Better check the power fuse 30amp. And the gauge fuse 10amp behind left side of dash at lower finish panel.

This one when it goes out (Power window relay ) nothing is gonna happen its located on the driver side R/B.

It sounds more like the master switch, what about the back 2 windows are they working?

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes, both rear windows are working.

Does this master switch cost so much? Will it be ok if I get it from Used parts dealers?

Thanks.
