So what should I do! So a month ago, I went to wal mart and went out to my car & then the key would not turn in the ignition at all, it still won't. I just haven't had the money to get a new ignition, so my friend ghetto rigged my starter and it's hanging underneath my steering wheel, and i've been cranking it with a screwdriver, but today, the starter box popped apart, and we got it back together, but now the car turns on and everything, the car just will not crank. Anywho, please help me with something and also how much would it cost to replace my ignition and get a new key and all that mess?

You can buy the USED whole ignition assembly at the junkyard. If you are familiar with www. Ebay. Com, I saw a few for $55 used ignition switch assembly with key plus shipping cost. I am sure your friend can install this.

On www. Ebay. Com, on the search space, type in 2007 Corolla ignition switch. Make sure it has a KEY included.

Oh, the NEW ignition assembly cost close to $300
